Denzel’s work with Durham College Esports became one of the key foundations of his creative development. Across event coverage, athlete portraits, social media content, broadcast support, and editing, he gained hands-on experience producing fast-paced media for a competitive collegiate environment. This role sharpened his ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and create content that captured both the energy of competition and the personality of the community behind it.
Narrative Videography

A collaborative short film project where Denzel contributed to directing, cinematography, and editing. The project strengthened his experience in visual planning, on-set collaboration, narrative pacing, and post-production workflow.
Winter Walk Safety Video
Slip & Fall DC
An educational safety video created for Durham College to promote winter awareness and help prevent slip, trip, and fall injuries on campus. Denzel served as director and editor on the contest-winning project, helping shape a clear, engaging, and practical piece of campus communication.
Channel Trailer
Durham Lords Twitch Channel Trailer
A promotional channel trailer created for Durham Lords Esports’ Twitch platform. Denzel contributed to the edit and motion graphics, using pacing, music, and After Effects elements to create a more dynamic introduction to the organization’s live content.
Event Video Production
Mariel Buckley Performance Video
A live performance edit created from footage captured by a production team. Denzel’s role focused on post-production, shaping the footage into a cohesive performance piece while building experience in event-based video editing, pacing, and audio-visual flow.
Motion Graphics
Lords Transition
A custom transition animation created for Durham Lords Esports. This project allowed Denzel to explore motion graphics, branded transitions, and visual consistency for live and digital media content.
Cosmetic FX Showcase
A collaborative video project highlighting the work of Durham College Cosmetic FX students. Denzel worked alongside Max Thompson and Elizabeth Li on filming and editing, helping create a polished showcase of makeup artistry, model performance, and visual presentation.
Demo Reel
A fast-paced reel showcasing Denzel’s work across videography, editing, camera operation, motion graphics, and broadcast production. The reel highlights his versatility across creative, technical, and collaborative roles.
