This body of work documents Denzel’s growth as both a photographer and visual storyteller within the Durham Lords Esports community. Through event coverage, athlete portraits, and stylized gel lighting, he developed a stronger eye for energy, expression, and identity. This helped create images that presented esports athletes with the same presence and impact as traditional varsity sports.
